Right outside of Statesboro's most popular attraction, Paulson Stadium, is a small southern breakfast joint. The Tasty Crave has been a Statesboro native since 2022.
The Tasty Crave exudes southern charm from the moment you step through their doors. The
warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee enhances the scent of cooked bacon, setting the senses for an unforgettable dining experience.
One of our favorite, standout creations is the Strawberry Crunch French Toast. It reminds us of those sweet summer days when the ice cream truck would roll by with the strawberry shortcake ice cream pops. This special take on a classic summer dessert is crafted with: thick slices of artisanal bread, dipped in a luscious custard batter and coated with a crispy layer of cornflakes, before being griddled to golden perfection. It is topped with fresh strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup. Each bite is filled with nostalgic feelings and deliciousness.
And who could resist another sweet nostalgic dish. The Tasty Crave has truly elevated the PB&J. This delightful creation features creamy peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiched between two slices of french toast, it's finished off by being grilled golden and dusted with powdered sugar.

However, if you are craving something more savory, look no further than the Salmon and Grits Bowl.
This culinary masterpiece features succulent salmon fillets atop a bed of creamy stone-
ground grits, infused with sharp cheddar cheese and hint of smoky flavor. A-last it is garnished
with fresh green onions and we can confirm that this dish truly marries southern comfort and gourmet flair.

The nostalgic magic of The Tasty Crave doesn't stop there. Their menu is a treasure trove of
southern classics and inventive dishes, from fluffy buttermilk biscuits smothered in
sausage gravy to crispy chicken and waffles drizzled with honey butter. Each dish is
crafted with care and attention to detail, ensuring that every visit is a culinary adventure
to remember.
